Embird is sold all over the world to machine embroidery enthusiasts from www.embird.com. (There are only a few countries in Africa where it is not registered.) Through Embird, you can convert sewing machine formats to fit your machine, recolor and resize designs, and change design stitching order, among many other capabilities.

There are several e-lists available regarding Embird (e.g., EmbirdTime@yahoogroups.com, EmbirdPlus@yahoogroups.com, and AbsolutelyEmbird@yahoogroups.com). Needless to say, many users have questions about Embird, and fortunately we have several excellent instructors that are active on these lists, providing answers to questions and problems.

As I find points of interest, I copy them out of my Embird digests and make new cards in AZZ Cardfile under distinctive subject headings.

The software needed to open this file, Azz Cardfile, is shareware. You are welcome to try it out - downloadable version is fully functional.

Download and install AzzCardfile program first: azzcrd33c_setup.exe (1.69 MB)

1. Save (not Open) this file: Embird.zip (20 KB)

2. Decompress (unzip) FILE.ZIP - will result in FILE.AZZ . Open this FILE.AZZ in AZZ Cardfile program.
