AZZ Cardfile : Simple Software for Home and Office

Pumpkin recipes: pie, bread, cheesecake, soup, cookies...

By Norval: I submit 260 Pumpkin Recipes for the use and enjoyment of Azz Cardfile devotees. Pumpkin recipes seem to be scattered, with only a few in each recipe book or database. This submission gathers many of them together into one easy to use cardfile.

Over half of these recipes were typed from a booklet issued by a not for profit charitable group. No copyright notice appeared in the booklet and the original source of the recipes is unknown. Some were copied form the Internet and have the link supplied. The rest were typed from older recipe books or imported from a CD which was a compilation of various recipe books.

Although great care was taken typing and proof-reading these recipes the typist will not accept any responsibility for errors in these recipes, or failures arising from their use. The typist did not test any of these recipes, but has highly enjoyed the end product of some of them when made by others.

When buying canned pumpkin check the labels carefully. Two types are available: plain pumpkin which is not sweetened and does not have any flavoring added, and pumpkin pie mix which contains sugar and spices.

Pumpkin pie spice is a ground blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
