How do I change the default font for my cards? Please advise. This is something that is missing from your help files.
Go to Tools | Options | View, use Card default: Font
Next time you create a card, new default font will be used.
To change font for all existing cards on specific .azz file, go to Tools | Options | View, use “Set font to all cards”.

Hi,
I have tried a number of times to protect a file and AZZ does not request a password before opening the file, it just opens as normal. Is the protect feature meant to request a password before opening the file or is it only to protect against changes to the file? I have tried a number of variations and cannot successfully password the file. AZZ is running from a flash drive.
Regards
Irene

I know they can be cleared via options, open/save. But, that clears all of them. It would be nice if you could clear only one, and not all; ie. right click the file to be removed, then have an option to “remove from list.” This would be helpful in the event a user has created a new file and it needs to be deleted or removed; ie. misspelled file name, file no longer needed, and so on.
Thanks,
Robert

In answer to Glen Worstell’s comment in this Blog, I thought it will be useful to many other users, as this feature is not well documented in program’s Help (shame on us).
It is easy and useful to create a template card, if you have AZZ Cardfile files like address-book, recipe book, or any other database that use standard fields for each entry.
1. Create a new card and assign it Title __template, (with one or more spaces at the beginning, so that it always sticks at the top of the alphabetical List):

2. Add all necessary fields to that “template” card:

3. Once you are going to create a new card from template, right click it in list and choose “Duplicate”:

4. Assign a meaningful Title when asked:

Also, there may be useful - a sample .azz file submitted by one of our users. How to create tables and table templates in AZZ Cardfile: http://www.pim-software.com/download/tables.html
