access violation at address ### in module azzcardile.exe. read of address ##

December 21st, 2007 . by stephen

I had to move all my data into another computer. The OS is Windows Professional. Thus far the only program I have a problem with is with AZZ card. I keep getting the following message when I attempt to open the program.

access violation at address ### in module azzcardile.exe. read of address ##

The other computer I had, had the same OS system. I put Azz aside and install the rest of my programs. So I really only have AZZ to install to make my computer perfect.

Update - Dec 26, 2007

After many attempts and using various utilities I was able to install and run Azz Card File.

The dialog box states the following: Access violation 00405a78 in module AzzCardfile.exe. run at 00000040. Formerly this pgm worked just fine.

I also get the “Access violation 00405a78 in module AzzCardfile.exe. run at 00000040″. This program used to work fine. I’ve had no software or OS changes (XP Pro). Just suddenly got the error when trying to even start the program. I just want to strip my data out of my *.azz file.

I had the same problem on WinXP Pro SP3. Seems the Print Spooler Service was set to start manually. Set to start automatically on windows, no problems then.

I have the FINAL SOLUTION. I use 3.3c (don’t like the new interface much)…get startup delayer and set up delay (I put 45 seconds) thinking the read is happening while something else is also reading from the startup routines …works like a charm …problem solved… here&free>> http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&dl=startdelay
